They showed us a slide of DoMS-Madras / IIT-Madras.. & right after that a question-answer session with 1 of the IIT-Madras professors.


Group Task:
I was the in GT Group-1, 1st guy.. lol 
GT Topic : "You have to develop ways to corporatise Bollywood Industry"

It was a case-study.. There were 8 of us in the group.. It was a nice healthy discussion.. But, I dunno why.. me & my neighbours points were not being heard @ all..(don't do like this GUYS, for God's sake)!!!!!

There was this girl who dominated the GD.. she brought in mainly 2 points:

1. Films shud be divided into segments(genres) & different kinds of corp. shud be allured acc. to their speciality..
2. 2nd point abt some Vertical/Horizontal marketing.. 

3 boys along with her made a sort of group & didn't allow anyone else to speak..they were repeating the same pts. again & again...!!!!! 

I tried to give the GT a new direction by saying that the rural market is untapped.. 85-90% of the multiplexes r in the metros.. also, we can do covert marketing in the films.. Moreover, to attract foreign corp., we can lower trade rates & liberalise rules.. But, they were not at all receptive to our ideas..They kept repeating their pts. abt the horizontal/vertical marketing thing..!! 

They shud try to understand that it's abt the collective decision-making of all the ppl in the group.. and not of them alone...This was the worst GT of my life..!!!

When the other day, the NITIE GD was an excellent one as evryone contributed.. and there was no fish-market.

Personal Interview:
It was a good one for me.. could answer the Tech questions thrown at me.. Two panelists.. A male & a female.. Both very young.. Guess they were alumni of IIT-Madras.

2. Current affairs - How Japan's trade-relations will be affected after the disaster(esp. in the electronics industry)
3. Acad-related questions
4. Questions on my hobbies

Document Verification... went fine.

P.S. Plssss be receptive in GD's.. Today the group kept repeating the same pts. over & over again.. things would have been different had we taken in some more point...
