Summary Topic: Summary to be written based on "Energy conservation sources cause a rebound effect leading to increase in the use of the other cheaper resources.. Like for eg. in a village, Indian govt. encouraged the use of Solar Lanterns instead of Kerosene Lanterns.. & due to this the prices of Kerosene fell down.. Now, people started buying even more kerosene than before leading to what is known as a 'Rebound Effect'.."

Essay Topic: "National Anthem is played nowadays before every movie in theaters.. Elaborate more such ideas which u think can be implemented to instill National pride in the ppl of India.." 

Number of candidates: No idea.. As, panel number was not given.. They were simply calling the candidates on phone.

Time Limit & Time taken by you : 40 mins for both Summary & Essay..
Word Limit & Words written by you(approx) : Summary - 130 words,
Essay - 200 words.. 

Personal Interview:
Panel Members Intro : 3 profs.. All male..
Approx Time period of PI : 30 mins.. Out of all the PI's that I have had till now.. this was the longest & the most gruelling.. "NOT GRILLING"-mind u.. they asked me questions from almost all spheres possible..

1. What is superconductivity?
2. What r logic gates?
3. Is fan, pen, pencil, ac, fridge, etc a logic system?
4. What is semi-conductor?
5. What is Doping?

REGARDING IIMI-

1. Why did u throw up the job to prepare for CAT? (I had thrown up a job after my B.E. to prep for CAT 2010.. Since, I'm from a pretty backward area & din't have any coaching for IIT-JEE at that time.. So, decided to take coaching this time in TIME after passing my B.E. in 2010.. & now have quite a few IIM calls.. )
2. What will u do if u don't get into any IIM's dis year?
3. Why IIMI?
4. Which calls u have? Which 1 will u choose?
5. Who is the director of IIMI?
6. What other specialities of IIMI do u know?
7. What is the Logo of IIMI? Draw it..
8. What is the logo of IIML? Draw it..

G.K. & Current Affairs-

1. Why is the Bow-tie so called?
2. Why is a cuff-link given along with a suit? It is redundant otherwise.
3. Questions on EU, SAARC, ASEAN, etc..

5. Have u seen yesterdays epl football match? What was the result?
6. Which is the richest football club in the world? How much is it worth?
7. What does "Real" in Real Madrid mean?

Overall the panel was very chilled out.. They were simply laughing gently when u cudn't answer.. But, this was easily the most EXHAUSTIVE & GRUELLING(not GRILLING) PI I hv had till date.. Questions were asked from all possible spheres..
